Carpenter JourneymanAmentum is looking for a Carpenter Journeyman to join our team in Springfield, VA! The Carpenter II performs carpentry duties necessary to maintain building structures and finishes in good repair.Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearanceDuties and Responsibilities:Repairing or installing new walls, partitions, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, and systems furniture.Also included are drywall patching, painting, and adjusting and installing door hardware.Work involves most of the following: planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments and making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work; and selecting materials necessary for the work.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Experience and Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.Minimum of fifteen years of carpentry experience required.Ability to lift up to 45 lbsComputer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferredCompensation Details:38.99Original Posting: 08/10/2026 - Until FilledAmentum anticipates this job requisition will remain open for at least three days, with a closing date no earlier than three days after the original posting.
